Position Overview

Our client is hiring Methods Process Analysts / Industrial Engineer I contractors to help stabilize and improve manufacturing production across multiple Washington State sites (Everett, Renton, Seattle, Auburn, Puyallup/Fredrickson). This is a 6-month, on-site contractor role focused on documenting time standards, analyzing process flow, and recommending Lean-driven improvements to reduce waste, improve safety, and increase throughput.


What You’ll Do

  • Analyze daily production performance against schedules and orders to identify gaps.
  • Observe build processes to document time standards and correct sequencing.
  • Recommend and help implement process improvements using Lean principles.
  • Identify safety and ergonomic risks and help drive mitigations.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on quality defect trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Build disruption-recovery plans using capacity and constraint analysis when needed.
  • Develop visual tools and metrics to monitor performance and highlight opportunities.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and production-support teams to implement changes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree — business-related fields (Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Economics) OR technical degree in engineering, math, or related discipline.
  • Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Self-starter who works well in cross-functional teams.
  • Must be a U.S. Person for export compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or production environments.
  • Hands-on experience defining, developing, or improving production processes.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving.
  • Experience with capacity planning, resource utilization, and process standardization.
  • Experience creating visual performance metrics and dashboards.

  • Duration: 6 months (contract)
  • Target start: ASAP
  • Work location: Onsite at one of the Washington sites — Everett, Renton, Seattle, Auburn, or Puyallup/Fredrickson (indicate preferred site on resume if local)

  • Out-of-state candidates: Considered; relocation at candidate’s expense
  • Shift: 1st shift (start time varies between ~5:00 AM–7:00 AM; typical day ~8.5 hours)

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to crouch, be semi-mobile, walk, and climb stairs while performing duties throughout the day.
