What You’ll Do
This role is an hourly, non-exempt Income Auditor / Accounting Analyst position located in Guam, reporting to the Director of Finance. You will ensure hotel revenues are recorded accurately, daily revenue reporting and reconciliations are complete, and finance control procedures are followed.
- Reconcile daily revenue between the PMS and other integrated systems (room sales, F&B POS, telephone, laundry, other departments)
- Prepare and distribute the daily revenue (morning) report and supporting schedules
- Reconcile cash banked, accounts receivable movements, and general cashier bank-in slips
- Review no-show, rate variance, out-of-service/out-of-order, and room status discrepancy reports and follow up with responsible teams
- Audit and control Food & Beverage revenues: verify guest checks, perform spot checks, review voids/corrections and unpaid checks
- Review rebate/negative posting documentation and summarize for management review
- Ensure coupons, vouchers, and special programs have appropriate controls and documentation
- Verify rebates, tips, discounts, and rounding adjustments after month-end and provide input for month-end journals
- Coordinate daily and monthly reconciliations from PMS to the General Ledger
- Assist with accounts receivable coordination (including travel agency billing) and advance deposits reconciliation
- Support Control Self-Assessment (CSA) audit activities and implement corrective actions
- Communicate and coach Duty Managers, Front Office, Outlet Managers and finance colleagues to maintain compliance with policies and controls
- Perform ad-hoc accounting projects as assigned
Who You Are / Qualifications
- High school diploma in Accounting or Business required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business highly preferred
- Minimum ~2 years of prior accounting or revenue/audit experience (hotel accounting experience a strong plus)
- Fluent in English (speaking, listening, reading and writing)
- Proficient with MS Excel and MS Outlook; comfortable creating and maintaining spreadsheets
- Experience with property management systems (PMS) and point-of-sale (POS) systems strongly preferred
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail
- Demonstrated ethical standards and ability to identify control weaknesses or potential internal theft
- Ability to analyze, summarize and present financial information clearly and professionally
- Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays as required

Compensation & Benefits
- Wage: $12.00 per hour (Non-exempt/hourly)
