What You’ll Do
As an Immunology Specialist (VIE Contract) supporting the Public Affairs team, you will help plan and execute global public affairs activities that advance the strategic objectives of the immunology franchise, with focus on pipeline assets across dermatology, respiratory, and GI conditions.
- Support the implementation of Global Public Affairs strategies that prepare ecosystems for product launches and uptake.
- Strengthen and maintain relationships with patient groups and external stakeholders so the patient voice informs business strategy.
- Help cultivate strategic partnerships with patient organizations and external stakeholders aligned to key pipeline priorities.
- Work cross-functionally with clinical development, new product planning, market access, medical, regulatory, and commercial partners to integrate community input into programs.
- Monitor and analyze external policy, advocacy, and stakeholder developments; summarize implications and present to Therapeutic Area leadership.
- Support external engagement strategies (e.g., briefings, events, leadership outreach) to reinforce the Confidential Client’s commitment to immunology.
- Assist in pulling through global strategic initiatives that build reputation and awareness for immunology assets.
Who You Are / Qualifications
Experience & education
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (Public Affairs, Political Science, Health Policy, Life Sciences, or related).
- A first professional experience (internship or junior role) in Public Affairs, Market Access, Health Policy, Government Affairs, advocacy, or a related field is a strong plus.
- Exposure to policy and advocacy strategies in healthcare, industry, or NGO settings is valued.
- Prior interest or experience working on early-stage assets and engaging with R&D or business development teams is a plus.
Skills & competencies
- Strategic mindset with an understanding of Public Affairs’ role in supporting business objectives.
- Ability to translate strategic plans into concrete actions and deploy PA tools to meet objectives.
- Strong collaboration skills; comfortable working cross-functionally in a matrixed, international organization.
- Interest in product development lifecycle, competitor intelligence, and early market-shaping activities.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with patient organizations and external partners.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to ~10%.
Language
- Fluent English (written and verbal) required.

Estimated salary (reported): $126,416 per year (estimated).
