Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Immigration Consultant (Entry Level) to support high-volume immigration casework and deliver day-to-day client service. This role focuses on case production, routine client communications, and developing procedural expertise across employment-based and related immigration processes. The position is permanent and based in Santa Clara, CA.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a primary point of contact for routine client communications, responding professionally and on time.
- Manage high-volume case production: initiate, assess, prepare, assemble, and file immigration submissions using established templates and the firm’s case management system.
- Draft immigration forms and supporting letters for employment-based NIV, IV, and PERM petitions.
- Coordinate with government agencies (USCIS, DOL, DOS) to monitor case status, track deadlines, and respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs).
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure data integrity across files and systems.
- Use reports and dashboards to prioritize work and meet deadlines on large caseloads.
- Support initial case assessments, gather client documentation, and prepare supporting evidence.
- Perform administrative tasks (scanning, filing, document organization) to keep cases moving efficiently.
- Participate in training, process improvement initiatives, and help update internal procedures after law or policy changes.
- Escalate operational issues promptly to legal team leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR 0–5 years of business immigration experience, OR a combination of education and experience demonstrating readiness for the role.
- Strong attention to detail; produces accurate, compliant forms, letters, and documentation.
- Excellent client communication skills and professional phone/email presence.
- Proven organization and time-management skills; able to prioritize high-volume workloads using dashboards and reports.
- Learning agility; able to quickly absorb new systems, processes, and immigration requirements.
- Comfortable using case management systems and document-handling tools.
- Solid document and data management skills with respect for client confidentiality.
- Problem-solving mindset and appropriate escalation judgment.
- Team player who works reliably with attorneys and colleagues.
- Professionalism handling sensitive information and interactions.
Compensation & Benefits
- In accordance with California Senate Bill 1162, the expected salary range for this California position is $59,100 to $74,325 per year.
