Confidential Client’s Advanced Technology Group (ATG) is seeking an entry-level Imaging Laboratory Technician to support R&D work on camera systems, imaging pipelines, and hardware/software validation. You will work with engineering and research teams to capture image and video data, run camera benchmarking, maintain lab equipment, and produce test reports that inform product development.
What You’ll Do
- Operate imaging laboratory equipment and cameras for controlled tests and field capture.
- Execute camera competitive analysis and benchmarking procedures.
- Create and set up demo scenes and test rigs for image/video capture.
- Collect objective performance metrics and prepare clear test reports.
- Assist with basic lab management, equipment bring-up, and preventative maintenance.
- Follow test plans and product manuals; escalate anomalies to engineers.
Who You Are
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced R&D setting.
- Detail-oriented with a critical eye for image quality and visual artifacts.
- Comfortable following written procedures and working independently when needed.
- Strong verbal and written communicator who can document results clearly.
- Interested in cameras, imaging, and video technology — prior hands-on experience is a plus but not required.
Required / Preferred Skills
- General camera operation and basic lab equipment experience.
- Basic photography / picture-taking skills with attention to composition and exposure.
- Manual dexterity and comfort with light equipment assembly and tool use.
- Ability to follow instructions, read product manuals, and work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- All necessary camera-specific training will be provided on the job.
Education & Experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, photography, or related field preferred — high school diploma with relevant interest/experience acceptable.
- This is an entry-level role; prior formal lab experience is helpful but not required.
