Position Overview
Confidential Client is seeking experienced aerospace professionals to support ICBM Development, Operations & Sustainment (IDOS) across the full lifecycle of the missile enterprise. This role contributes to a large, multi-year modernization program focused on acquisition strategy and execution, requirements and interface integration, cost/schedule/risk/configuration management, nuclear surety, and cybersecurity compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support acquisition and program management activities for a major ICBM modernization effort.
- Contribute to systems engineering, requirements development, interface integration, and configuration management.
- Assist with cost, schedule, and risk analysis to support program decisions.
- Support cybersecurity compliance, nuclear surety, and RMF/ATO processes as required.
- Coordinate with DoD, military and civilian personnel, and industry partners to ensure mission readiness and sustainment.
- Prepare program documentation, briefings, and technical analyses to support stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Active, current SECRET federal security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree OR four (4) years of related experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum one (1) year experience supporting IDOS, federal government programs, public sector consulting, or related fields.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in dynamic environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
- Active, current TOP SECRET or higher clearance.
- Advanced degree in engineering, systems, or related discipline.
- Five (5) or more years’ experience supporting IDOS, defense acquisition programs, or federal consulting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience building or leading high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with configuration management, systems engineering (MBSE/T&E), and programmatic compliance.

- Clearance Required: Active SECRET (required)

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $80,000–$133,000 (range provided by Confidential Client). Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, security clearance, certifications, and organizational needs.

About the Program
Confidential Client supports a once-in-a-generation modernization of the U.S. ICBM enterprise. The effort spans development, operations, and sustainment—modernizing launch and support infrastructure, fielding an advanced missile system, and delivering updated command-and-control capabilities. Initial fielding is expected to begin in the late 2020s with deployment following over multiple years.
