What You’ll Do
Join our confidential client’s Authorization Management product team as an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Software Engineer/Analyst. You will design, develop, and support scalable automation, self-service tooling, and integrations that enable secure access management for human and non-human identities across the enterprise. This is a hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA.
- Develop and maintain automation and self-service IAM tooling to enforce least-privilege access models.
- Build and maintain access certification workflows that create, route, track, and close access review campaigns.
- Integrate with authoritative identity and entitlement data sources to ensure accurate account, role, group, and entitlement information.
- Design and implement secure, reliable backend APIs and services to support certification, reporting, workflow orchestration, and integrations.
- Implement access remediation processes: convert certification outcomes into revocation tasks, automated deprovisioning, tickets, or documented exceptions.
- Ensure auditability and evidence retention for access reviews, decisions, and remediation actions.
- Apply identity and access control practices aligned with security standards, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Participate across the product lifecycle: story refinement, development, testing, code review, deployments, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Protect sensitive identity and entitlement data through access controls, logging, encryption, and separation of duties.
- Research emerging IAM topics, threats, and solution options; advise product and engineering teams on secure design patterns.
Required Qualifications
- Prior software development experience.
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with application development tools and IDEs (e.g., IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) and backend frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot).
- Source control experience (Git, GitLab).
- Experience building with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Understanding of software design patterns, testing techniques, and software security scanning.
- Experience with API development and testing tools (e.g., Bruno, Insomnia).
- Experience with credential/secret management tools (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred / Desired Skills
- Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, NYCRR 500).
- Experience designing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Role-Based Access Control roles for applications.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and cloud deployment tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Proven ability to integrate multiple technologies via technical design and APIs.
- Experience creating and maintaining operational documentation, architecture diagrams, roadmaps, and industry research summaries.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, Security+, GSEC, CISM, CRISC, or GCSA are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Potential starting salary range: $97,000 - $177,000. Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience. High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience.
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary.

Additional Details
- Work location: Atlanta, GA (hybrid schedule expected).
