About the Role

The Credit Trainee role is an early-career development program designed for candidates who are motivated, curious, and eager to build a long-term career in credit and finance.

You’ll join the credit team and receive hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to multiple areas of the business. No prior credit experience is required — the client will teach you everything you need to succeed.


The Credit Trainee Program

This is an 8–12 month rotational training program where you’ll gain real-world experience across operations and credit functions, including:

  • Time in warehouse and branch operations
  • Shadowing sales teams and delivery drivers
  • Participating in customer meetings and site visits
  • Learning how trade credit is extended and managed

  • Credit systems and processes
  • Emotional intelligence and communication
  • Sales process fundamentals
  • Collections and risk management
  • Customer relationship management
  • Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) basics
  • Financial statement analysis
  • Secondary security concepts

Qualifications

Required

  • 0–3 years of work experience after earning a bachelor’s degree
    (Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)

  • Interest in customer service, finance, or credit management

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Willingness to learn and take initiative

Location & Relocation

  • Initial training will take place in Santa Ana, CA for 8–12 months
  • Relocation is required after the training period

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Pay Range: $26.17 – $39.24
