Primary Responsibilities

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level claims professionals for a structured training-to-career program. This role begins with a 4-week concept-based training program followed by guided onboarding, mentoring, and on-the-job development.

• Attend and complete the designated claims professional training program and onboarding activities
• Adjust workers’ compensation claims under close supervision
• Process and respond to incoming mail, email, and claim-related documents
• Communicate professionally with injured workers, employers/insureds, medical providers, attorneys, and carrier representatives by phone, video, and email
• Gather and analyze claim information (medical records, employer reports, witness statements) to inform next steps
• Investigate employer/employee relationships, verify policy coverage, and flag potential subrogation or fraud indicators
• Determine coverage, compensability, and appropriate benefits per jurisdictional guidelines
• Document claims activity accurately, code files appropriately, and prepare clear reports of findings and recommendations
• Administer indemnity and medical benefits and maintain calendared claim action items to ensure state compliance
• Participate in virtual/in-person trainings, claim reviews, and team meetings as required

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience: 0–2 years relevant experience; customer service or related experience is a plus
• Ability to perform standard computer keyboarding tasks and use common business software
• Clear conceptual thinking, good judgment, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle work-related stress, meet deadlines, and prioritize work effectively

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay (jurisdiction-specific): $25.65 per hour (as disclosed for the jurisdiction in this posting). Actual pay may vary by experience and location.
