What You’ll Do

This Associate Product Manager, GP Portfolio Monitoring will work with product, engineering, design, client services, and commercial teams to build and deliver GP-facing SaaS features for private markets investors. The role focuses on translating buyside workflows into product requirements, validating solutions with clients, and supporting the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.

  • Contribute to GP product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and feature definition
  • Define, write, and manage business and technical requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria)
  • Coordinate UAT, sprint planning support, and product documentation to ensure high-quality releases
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to deliver timely, production-ready features
  • Automate portfolio company data collection, streamline data extraction, and simplify investor reporting workflows
  • Engage directly with GP clients and client services to validate use cases, gather feedback, and iterate on features
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on GP portfolio monitoring workflows for Sales, Client Services, and cross-functional partners
  • Leverage modern product tools and techniques, including prototyping platforms and LLM-enabled workflows, to accelerate discovery and delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Two (2) to four (4) years of front- or middle-office experience at a private equity or private credit GP (buyside experience strongly preferred)
  • Fluency with private equity/private credit operations, terminology, and workflows across the investment lifecycle
  • Demonstrated interest in product management and technology for financial services / enterprise SaaS
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information and prioritize competing demands
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging both technical and business audiences
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage operational aspects of product delivery
  • Collaborative working style and willingness to partner closely with engineering on technical specifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Authorized to work in the United States (must comply with applicable state employment requirements)

Nice to Haves

  • Prior experience using GP portfolio monitoring platforms or enterprise private markets tools
  • Experience implementing or building features for enterprise SaaS products
  • Familiarity with SQL, APIs, data extraction, or related technical concepts
  • Exposure to LLMs, prototyping platforms, or modern analytics tooling
