What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Human Resources Generalist to provide day-to-day, cross-functional HR support. This role will work closely with the VP of Human Resources to manage operational HR tasks and build a strong foundation across talent acquisition, onboarding, HRIS administration, benefits support, learning administration, records retention, compliance auditing, and associate relations.

  • Perform daily review of incoming applications and identify candidates for hiring manager review
  • Coordinate applicant communications, schedule phone screens and interviews, prepare interview agendas, and manage calendar logistics and room bookings
  • Support new-hire onboarding logistics — create orientation agendas, schedule orientation activities, and help ensure a positive first-day experience
  • Maintain accurate employee records and data in the HRIS (Paycom or similar)
  • Administer performance management activities and learning assignments in the LMS; track course progress and completion
  • Provide front-line support for routine associate relations inquiries; escalate complex or sensitive matters to HR leadership and shadow the VP of HR on investigations and escalations
  • Assist with benefits administration tasks during annual enrollment, life-event changes, and leave-of-absence processing; coordinate with benefits broker and carriers on administrative requests
  • Lead and coordinate the employee wellness committee and annual wellness planning for both locations
  • Support ad-hoc HR projects and department needs as assigned

  • Comfortable learning HRIS platforms (Paycom experience is a plus)
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good judgment about when to escalate issues versus handle independently
