Position Summary & Key Information
This posting describes an entry-level Human Resources Coordinator role supporting regional HR operations in Saint Paul, MN. The Confidential Client is seeking a hands-on HR generalist who will support onboarding, HRIS maintenance, employee records, training coordination, and employee relations support across the region.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct new-hire orientations and manage associated onboarding tasks to create a consistent, positive integration experience.
- Provide primary support for the regional career check-in process.
- Process class changes (non-exempt to exempt) in accordance with federal and state wage-hour rules.
- Identify, assign, and support internal training participants; organize and facilitate regional in-person Strong Start training events.
- Partner with HR Partners to administer terminations, departure paperwork, and exit interviews; ensure proper personnel filing.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (new hires, reclassifications, supervisor changes, terminations).
- Perform regular HRIS audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Track professional licensure and job-related credentialing updates.
- Respond promptly to employee inquiries and collaborate on employee relations issues as directed (performance management, conflict resolution, team-building support).
- Support marketing requests and proposals as they relate to HR resources for external clients and internal pursuits.
- Lead or support region-wide and company-wide special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in HR (relevant internships or post-graduate experience encouraged).
- Interest in pursuing PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable learning new HR and productivity software; experience with UKG Pro or other HRIS is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel to regional offices as required.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to build relationships across levels.
- Excellent time management, organization, attention to detail, and discretion handling confidential information.
- Strong sense of urgency, ownership, and ability to follow through.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000 - $65,000 per year.

Location & Work Authorization
- Location: Saint Paul, MN (in-office / regional travel required).
