What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator based in Pimmit, VA (Confidential Client operates in HR & Recruitment). This is a full-time role supporting a People Resource Team where team members are cross-trained across HR Business Partnering, Recruiting Operations, Talent Management, Training & Development and vendor administration. You will help deliver a best-in-class employee and candidate experience through accurate HR operations, timely communications, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support HR generalist tasks: initiate Workday transactions, run reports, and maintain accurate employee data.
- Track staffing assignments and capacity in resource tools (Bridgit Bench or equivalent).
- Support employee immigration case administration (collect documents, update records).
- Manage relocation intake and initiation in coordination with HR Business Partners.
- Assist with offboarding (exit interviews, notifications, shipping labels).
- Prepare materials for all-hands and leadership meetings.
- Post job openings, refresh listings, and perform audits of job descriptions for accuracy and compliance.
- Schedule candidate screens and interviews; coordinate travel and logistics; communicate agendas to candidates.
- Improve candidate experience and scheduling efficiency across recruiting processes.
- Process new hires in Workday and coordinate background checks and drug screens.
- Manage employee referral inbox and referral tracking and payments.
- Support talent management programs: goal setting guidance, talent profile updates, manager assessments, and audits.
- Administer training programs: course postings, feedback surveys, attendance tracking, and mentoring program support.
- Track and coordinate compliance training (Anti-Harassment, Business Ethics).
- Process HR invoices in Coupa and support reporting, metrics, and process audits.
- Complete Forms I-9, verify documentation, and maintain I-9 files.
- Coordinate event logistics and on-site candidate facilitation; process candidate travel reimbursements.
Basic Qualifications
- High degree of professionalism when interacting with senior leaders, employees and external candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and calendar management tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete a high volume of tasks and projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; sound judgment, discretion and sensitivity.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
- 0–2 years’ experience in Human Resources or project coordination.
- Experience with Workday or other applicant tracking/HRIS systems.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Coupa, and SAP.
- Prior exposure to recruiting operations, onboarding, I-9 processes, or immigration administration.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range for this role: $45,000 – $140,000 (actual pay depends on experience, skills, and location).
- Total compensation may include bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package: health/dental/vision, paid time off, retirement/401(k) with company contribution, life insurance, short & long term disability, commuter benefits, FSA, tuition assistance, employee assistance programs and more.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Mostly office-based work with prolonged periods at a desk performing focused computer work; occasional active movement across office locations and periodic visits to construction or field sites.
- Ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- May require flexibility for extended hours during critical phases and responsiveness to time-sensitive communications.
- Pre-employment drug screening may be required; the client maintains a drug-free workplace policy.
