Human Resources Coordinator
The Human Resources Coordinator at Confidential Client plays a vital role within a cross-trained People Resource Team, supporting diverse HR functions including recruiting, talent management, training, and vendor management. This position focuses on delivering exceptional service, managing HR processes such as Workday transactions, candidate coordination, compliance training, and event logistics, while contributing to a positive employee experience in a dynamic, safety-conscious construction environment.

Position Overview
This Human Resources Coordinator role supports a People Resource Team and will be cross-trained across HR Business Partners, Recruiting, Talent Management, Training & Development, vendor management, and other HR functions. You’ll help deliver a positive employee experience and support core HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support HR operations across one or more focus areas (HR Generalist, Recruiting Operations, Talent Management, Training & Development).
- Provide exceptional service to employees and leaders with a sense of urgency and strong attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate HR records and run HR reporting as needed.
HR Generalist (examples of tasks)
- Initiate Workday transactions (data changes, employee moves) and generate Workday reports for HR and leadership.
- Track staffing assignments and needs using Bridgit Bench.
- Support administration of employee immigration cases and related documentation.
- Conduct initial relocation intake and coordinate relocation packages with HRBPs.
- Assist with offboarding (exit interviews, notifications, shipping).
- Complete employment verification requests and prepare materials for company meetings.
- Assist with talent process follow-up and audits (performance reviews, talent reviews).
Recruiting Operations
- Post and refresh job openings; disposition candidates and audit job descriptions for accuracy and compliance.
- Schedule phone screens and on-site interviews; coordinate candidate travel and communicate logistics and agendas.
- Improve candidate experience, scheduling efficiency, and hiring process workflows.
- Process new hires in Workday, coordinate drug/background checks, and send onboarding communications.
- Manage the employee referral inbox and Workday referral portal; track and process referral bonuses.
Talent Management
- Support goal setting, feedback, development planning and recognition processes for employees and managers.
- Coordinate the annual Talent Profile update and manager talent assessments.
- Help review, modify, or create talent programs and use talent data to support HR priorities.
Training & Development
- Manage the corporate learning platform: post courses, launch feedback surveys, update invites, and track attendance.
- Support entry-level mentoring and other development programs; track progress and completions.
- Coordinate compliance trainings (e.g., Anti-Harassment, Business Ethics) and assist facilitation when needed.
Additional Responsibilities
- Process HR invoices (Coupa) and support process-improvement projects.
- Provide reporting and metrics support, perform process audits, and improve cross-team handoffs.
- Complete and maintain I-9 documentation and files.
- Manage event logistics (campus, diversity, military, conferences), greet candidates on-site, and facilitate interviews.
- Process candidate travel reimbursements and other candidate-facing tasks.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred but not required.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with senior leadership and employees.
- Strong attention to detail and high organizational ability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and calendar management tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete high volumes of tasks and projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; good judgment, discretion, and sensitivity.
Preferred Qualifications
- 0–2 years’ experience in Human Resources or project coordination.
- Experience with Google Workspace, Coupa, and SAP.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems such as Workday.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based work with occasional visits to active construction sites or other field locations.
- Comfortable with prolonged periods of focused desk work and frequent computer-based tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- This role may require occasional extended hours during critical project phases. Reasonable accommodations are available upon request.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $45,000 - $140,000 (actual pay may vary based on experience, education, skills, and location).
- Total compensation package may include bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package (health/dental/vision, PTO, retirement/401(k), company contribution plan, life insurance, commuter benefits, short/long term disability, FSA, tuition reimbursement, back-up care, EAP, and other programs).
