What You’ll Do

This is a hands-on Human Resources Coordinator role supporting a small team at a confidential client in Manhattan. You'll support full-cycle recruiting for entry-level and internship roles, coordinate onboarding and training, maintain HR records, and provide general HR administrative support.

  • Post, update, and manage job advertisements across job boards and networks
  • Coordinate and attend campus recruiting and hiring events
  • Conduct initial phone or video screens for internship and entry-level candidates
  • Manage onboarding: paperwork distribution, benefits enrollment coordination, and orientation scheduling
  • Organize and administer employee training and development programs
  • Support performance review logistics by scheduling and tracking feedback sessions
  • Maintain and update HR databases and personnel records with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Handle offboarding tasks and ensure compliant separation processes
  • Provide general office/HR support for a small team (calendar coordination, vendor engagements, ad hoc HR projects)

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is an organized, communicative HR generalist with a desire to grow into talent acquisition and HR operations.

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Human Resources, Business, or related field)
  • Minimum 1 year of HR, recruiting, or talent management experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with HRIS or ATS systems is a plus
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills with close attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple assignments concurrently
  • Customer-service orientation and practical problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professional HR practices

Role Details

  • Location: Manhattan, NY — Fully onsite (office-based)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Type: Temporary-to-permanent opportunity; full-time hours
  • Pay: $27–$32 per hour
