What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a reliable Human Resources Assistant to support a busy recruitment and HR function within a behavioral health organization. You will help streamline hiring for clinical and non-clinical roles and ensure smooth, compliant candidate experiences.
- Support the recruitment team by screening and triaging applicants
- Act as a point of contact for job applicants and scheduling coordinators
- Coordinate interview logistics (scheduling, confirmations, calendar invites)
- Maintain and update applicant records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Assist with new-hire onboarding documentation and compliance checks
- Help ensure compliance with healthcare staffing regulations and internal policies
- Prepare HR correspondence and basic reports using Microsoft Office tools
- Support ad hoc HR administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced HR/recruiting environment—experience in healthcare staffing is a strong plus.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- 1–2 years of administrative or HR experience (healthcare/medical staffing experience strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or HR software
- Experience with Paylocity is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
Location & Schedule
- Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid) — this role requires some in-person commitment at the Raleigh location.

- Estimated salary: $49,452 per year (estimated)
