Overview
This Human Resources Assistant role supports the HR team at our Confidential Client’s El Segundo, CA office. You will help with onboarding, timecard collection, HR recordkeeping, and general HR/administrative support. This is a hands-on, customer-service-focused position that’s a great fit for someone early in their HR career who wants exposure to payroll, compliance documentation, and account support.

- Pay: $20.00 per hour

What You’ll Do
As an HR Assistant you’ll perform daily HR operations and provide excellent service to internal teams and external candidates.
- Assist with weekly timecard collection and troubleshoot timecard issues for external candidates
- Collect and administer candidate paperwork and onboarding documents (direct deposit, W-4, I-9, etc.)
- Enter and maintain accurate HR data and employee personnel files
- Perform routine data entry and update internal HR/onboarding systems
- Respond to employee and candidate questions by phone and in person, maintaining strong customer service
- Handle administrative tasks: inventory management, ordering office and marketing supplies, answering phones, coordinating shipments
- Support the Human Resources Department with ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications
We value relevant experience, attention to detail, and a service-oriented mindset.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree and/or recent military experience preferred
- Prior internship or work experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or administrative support preferred
- Interest in Sales and Account Management is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and accuracy in data entry
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential HR information with discretion

- Onsite — El Segundo, CA (90245)
- Full-time schedule (typical business hours); flexibility may be required based on team needs
