Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Human Resources Administrator in Denver, CO for a contract-to-hire, full-time role. This is a hybrid position (3 days per week in the Denver office). You'll support the HR team by handling onboarding/offboarding, HRIS and personnel records, timekeeping and payroll support, compliance tracking, and routine employee inquiries — a strong opportunity for recent graduates and early-career HR professionals.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the Senior HR Generalist on new-hire onboarding and offboarding, including systems access and account setup (Sequoia One HRIS, Microsoft 365, HubSpot, Monday.com, Brex).
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure data integrity across connected systems.
- Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee questions on policies, benefits enrollment, and HR processes; escalate as needed.
- Support performance review and engagement survey cycles with scheduling, tracking, and follow-up.
- Administer the timekeeping system: monitor weekly time card submissions, follow up on missing or incomplete entries, and flag discrepancies prior to payroll cutoff.
- Track PTO, leave balances, and absence requests; ensure accurate coding of hours.
- Partner with HR and Finance on payroll preparation, reviewing time data for accuracy and resolving exceptions.
- Maintain expense reporting and reconciliation in Brex; resolve card issues and vendor payment escalations.
- Run daily approvals and signature workflows end-to-end (DocuSign / Adobe Sign) for NDAs, vendor agreements, and HR paperwork.
- Maintain organized personnel files and executed agreements in SharePoint with strong version control and confidentiality.
- Support compliance recordkeeping (I-9 documentation, required labor law postings, handbook acknowledgments, policy distribution).
- Develop foundational knowledge in employment law and HR compliance (wage & hour, multi-state registration, EEO reporting, leave administration) with training and mentorship.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 0–1+ years of human resources experience; recent graduates and early career professionals encouraged to apply.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality when handling employee records.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational abilities.
- Comfortable learning HRIS, payroll/timekeeping systems, and common SaaS tools (Microsoft 365, HubSpot, Monday.com, Brex).
- Ability to prioritize, follow up independently, and escalate sensitive matters appropriately.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
Location & Schedule
- Based in Denver, CO (hybrid): typically 3 days per week in the Denver office.
- Contract-to-hire; Full-time employment type.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $26.00 – $32.00 per hour.
