HSE Specialist (Mandeville, LA or Raceland, LA)
The HSE Specialist supports the Health, Safety, and Environmental team by maintaining compliance documentation, assisting with environmental and safety reporting, and supporting day-to-day HSE initiatives. This entry-level role involves managing environmental compliance programs, tracking incidents, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts across multiple facilities.

What You’ll Do
- Support environmental compliance programs related to air quality, stormwater, wastewater, waste management, and sustainability initiatives across multiple facilities (Mandeville / Raceland areas).
- Assist with environmental reporting to meet regulatory and company requirements, including TRI, Tier II, Emissions Inventory, Title V permit, wastewater, stormwater, and waste submissions.
- Maintain, validate, and organize environmental compliance documentation and tracking databases.
- Support safety compliance programs such as Hazard Communication (HazCom) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management.
- Assist with HSE incident tracking, investigations follow-up, and corrective action tracking.
- Contribute to HSE projects, continuous improvement initiatives, dashboards, audit databases, and performance metrics.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Internship experience or 0–2 years in safety, environmental, manufacturing, or industrial operations preferred.
- Entry-level HSE professionals who are detail-oriented and eager to learn and grow.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support multiple facilities.
