Location
On-site in Kingsport, TN supporting the Confidential Client HR team. This position requires regular on-site presence at the Kingsport location.
What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Human Resources Representative to support day-to-day HR activities for assigned organization(s). Using best practices from third-party recruiting, this listing highlights responsibilities hiring managers expect:
- Serve as a resource to front-line managers, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and HR processes.
- Support talent acquisition and onboarding activities, including coordination with hiring managers and candidate communications.
- Assist HR Partners with annual HR processes, special projects, and workforce analytics.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and help address general HR inquiries.
- Perform basic compensation analyses for internal transfers, adjustments, or promotions.
- Analyze workforce data and trends to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with HR team members and business leaders to ensure consistent HR service delivery and a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Previous HR experience preferred; PHR or other HR certification is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical behavior and compliance with labor laws and company policy.
- Comfortable supporting both operational tasks and partnership/consultative HR work.

- Estimated base pay: $86,871 per year (estimated).
