What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an HR Management Development Coordinator to provide hands-on HR support across onboarding, recruiting, employee records, benefits, HR systems, training, and day-to-day HR operations in a federal government contracting environment.
- Assist with day-to-day HR activities and provide professional, timely administrative support to employees, managers, and the HR team.
- Support full-cycle onboarding and offboarding: prepare new-hire paperwork, verify documentation, and maintain accurate, confidential personnel files.
- Post open positions, screen applications, coordinate interviews, schedule candidate communications, and assist with new-hire processing.
- Enter and maintain employee data in HRIS and workforce systems; prepare routine HR reports and assist with timesheet follow-up.
- Support benefits administration, annual open enrollment activities, leave documentation, and employee communications related to benefits.
- Help administer training logistics, track completions, and support performance management processes.
- Assist with HR compliance, policy documentation, and special HR projects as assigned; escalate sensitive matters appropriately.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, or an Associate degree plus relevant HR experience. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience within federal government contracting, professional services, or another regulated environment is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, recruiting, and HR compliance requirements.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer-service orientation.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment.
- U.S. citizenship required to perform this role.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Unanet, JazzHR, or comparable HR systems.
- Prior hands-on experience with onboarding workflows, benefits open enrollment, and recruiting administration.
- Comfortable preparing routine HR reports and using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Compensation & Employment Details
- Employment type: Full-time
- Location: Landover, MD (on-site / local to the area)
- Anticipated salary range: $65,000 — $72,800 annually (approx. $31.25 — $35.00 per hour). Pay will be disclosed in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws.
- This role is with a Confidential Client (federal government contracting environment); candidates may be required to provide documentation for eligibility/contract compliance.
