Role Overview

This listing is for an HR Coordinator (primary keyword: HR Coordinator Solms, TX) supporting a Confidential Client in the HR & Recruitment industry. This is an on-site, administrative HR role based in Solms, TX. The HR Coordinator will support recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee records, employee relations, and compliance across multiple properties. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to learn HR hands-on and gain experience with Paylocity, Employee Navigator, and Indeed.


What You’ll Do

  • Recruiting & onboarding

  • Manage job postings and the Indeed account (including sponsored postings)

  • Support managers with candidate communication and interview scheduling

  • Source and screen candidates for hourly and management roles

  • Prepare offer letters, coordinate background checks and pre-employment items

  • Own new-hire onboarding in Paylocity and review documentation for accuracy

  • Serve as backup for I-9 and E-Verify

  • Benefits administration

  • Administer Employee Navigator tasks: enrollments, eligibility, and status changes

  • Send benefit communications and reminders

  • Reconcile carrier invoices against enrollments and payroll deductions and resolve discrepancies

  • Employee records & HR administration

  • Process promotions, transfers, pay changes, and terminations

  • Maintain accurate employee data across systems through routine audits

  • Maintain confidential personnel records and corrective action documentation

  • Assist with HR reporting (turnover, headcount, attendance, etc.)

  • Employee relations & compliance

  • Support workplace investigations (gather documentation, schedule meetings, maintain files)

  • Handle Texas Workforce Commission notices and related documentation

  • Monitor employee feedback and escalate concerns when appropriate

  • Assist with handbook, policy, and HR form updates

  • Manager & department support

  • Act as the first stop for managers navigating HR processes and systems

  • Support audits, compliance projects, HR communications, and special projects

What We’re Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field — OR hands-on exposure to an HR department via a job, internship, or admin role
  • Strong interest in building a career in HR
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Discretion and professionalism with confidential information
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear, friendly communication with managers and employees at all levels
  • Comfort with spreadsheets and learning new HR systems
