What You’ll Do
The role combines hands-on recruiting and HR administrative responsibilities with data analysis and policy support. Typical duties include:
- Review requests to fill positions; post openings and perform routine talent searches
- Receive, screen, and forward qualified candidate applications
- Coordinate onboarding: send offer letters, confirm start dates, and support pre-employment requirements
- Assist with compensation and classification processes, including wage and benefits surveys and desk audits
- Maintain or update class specifications and recommend position allocations or salary adjustments
- Administer skills-testing for certain classifications and maintain related records
- Conduct internal equity assessments and recommend starting salaries for entry-level classifications
- Provide information and consultation on HR policies, laws, and procedures to employees, management, and the public
- Research, compile, and analyze administrative and statistical HR data and prepare reports and open-records responses
- Serve as a liaison on applicant tracking system administration and technical issues
- Support recruitment outreach (job fairs, sourcing) and assist other HR generalists as needed
- Maintain confidentiality in all HR matters
What We’re Looking For
Minimum qualifications and core skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field required (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
- Previous human resources experience preferred, especially in recruitment, onboarding, or classification
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information
- Comfortable using applicant tracking systems and performing basic HR data analysis
- Good communication skills for interacting with candidates, employees, and department leaders
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work both independently and as part of a team
Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly rate: $23.00
- Estimated annual pay (for SEO/stat reporting): $41,152 (estimated)
