Overview
Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is hiring a Housekeeper in Portsmouth, NH. This role includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires. We’re seeking dependable, detail-oriented candidates to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for guests/residents.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, common areas, and workspaces to company standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures
- Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or supply shortages promptly
- Follow cleaning schedules and documented checklists to ensure consistency
- Adhere to health, safety, and infection-control protocols
What We’re Looking For
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and company cleaning procedures
- Good time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic English communication skills to follow safety and operational instructions
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Schedule & Location
- Work location: Portsmouth, NH (on-site)
- Shift patterns may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or rotating schedules depending on operational needs
- Physical requirements: ability to stand, bend, push/pull, and lift items typically associated with housekeeping duties
- Employment type: Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available; shift details will be confirmed during the interview process
- Employment is contingent on verification of identity and work authorization; background checks may be required where permitted by law
