Work Environment
This is an in-home care role. You will visit patients in their homes, allowing you to tailor therapy to real-life settings and build strong therapeutic relationships. The position offers schedule flexibility Monday–Friday with the ability to choose caseload timing within business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations in home settings to identify functional limitations and therapy needs.
- Create, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and appropriate modalities.
- Accurately document visits, progress, and outcomes in electronic health records.
- Monitor and update treatment goals to reflect patient progress; introduce new strategies when clinically indicated.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on safe mobility, use of assistive devices, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain professional growth through continuing education, workshops, and clinical collaboration.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse caseload including post-surgical patients, those recovering from injury, and individuals managing chronic conditions. The home-care model emphasizes functional, patient-centered goals that support independence and safety in the patient’s own environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (required).
- Active Florida state licensure to practice Physical Therapy (required).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with electronic health record systems and basic computer skills.
- Flexible approach to scheduling and patient needs.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of two years of clinical physical therapy experience preferred; strong internship/clinical training considered.
- Experience or familiarity with home care settings and in-home treatment considerations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: USD 100,000 — 120,000 per year.
