What You’ll Do
The Confidential Client is hiring an HLC Analyst I to support monitoring of a regional business loan portfolio. This is an early-career credit role with structured training and hands-on experience in credit monitoring and analysis.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop credit underwriting and monitoring skills through formal training and on-the-job tasks
- Review and analyze financial statements, spreads and borrowing bases
- Monitor covenant compliance and manage covenant/borrowing-base violations as assigned
- Evaluate waiver requests and coordinate findings with underwriting and credit officers
- Work directly with regional bankers, underwriting, regional credit officers and the financial recovery team on customer creditworthiness and loan compliance
- Prepare clear written summaries and recommendations for internal stakeholders
- Complete other duties as needed to support the business line and team objectives
Qualifications
Basic (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree
- Internship or practical experience in a business or commercial-related field
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Business/Data Analytics
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and online research tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including business writing and professional demeanor
- Excellent customer-service orientation; motivated and goal-focused
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail, planning and follow-up
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising quality
Compensation & Workplace
- Estimated salary: $78,374 per year (estimated)
- Employment type: Full-time
- Workplace: Remote-eligible / flexible (TELECOMMUTE). Specific work arrangement will be provided by the hiring team; occasional office collaboration may be required.
- Exempt status: No (eligible for overtime pay)
