What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Highway Engineer to join their Julington Creek, FL office. You'll support senior project engineers and work on transportation-related projects across planning and design phases.

• Develop roadway horizontal and vertical alignments
• Perform roadside evaluation and design
• Prepare maintenance-of-traffic (MOT) plans
• Produce construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Develop technical reports and documentation
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and stakeholders

Qualifications (Required)

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 0–4 years of relevant experience (internships or co-op experience in transportation preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work both independently and in teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
• Experience with design software: MicroStation, Geopak, OpenRoads, InRoads, AutoCAD
• Prior experience or coursework in roadway/highway design and traffic control planning

Employment Type & Compensation

• Employment Type: Full time; Contract (as listed)
• Expected compensation range: $70,000 – $125,000 per year (good-faith estimate; actual offer may vary based on experience, location, and other factors)
