Summary

Confidential Client is seeking an Experienced Associate for Healthcare Provider Backoffice Consulting in East Irvine, CA. This is a full-time role focused on operations strategy, process optimization, and business data analytics to help healthcare provider clients improve backoffice efficiency and effectiveness.

What You’ll Do

Confidential Client’s Strategy practice delivers practical operational improvements for healthcare providers. As an Experienced Associate, you will:

• Analyze client operational needs and develop actionable operational strategies
• Use business data analytics to identify process bottlenecks and performance opportunities
• Design and recommend process improvements and implementation roadmaps
• Support client engagements by preparing deliverables, presenting findings, and coordinating with project teams
• Apply critical thinking to break down complex business problems and generate evidence-based recommendations
• Collaborate with senior staff to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality work
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and human+AI workflows to increase efficiency and insight generation
• Uphold professional and technical standards and follow Confidential Client’s codes of conduct

Responsibilities

• Develop operational assessments and diagnostics for backoffice functions (e.g., billing, revenue cycle, supply chain, scheduling)
• Translate data into insights and prioritized, measurable recommendations
• Support implementation planning and change management activities
• Contribute to client-facing documentation, slide decks, and workshops
• Travel to client sites as required (up to 80%)

What You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience (consulting, healthcare operations, analytics, or related roles)
• Practical familiarity with business data analytics and process improvement techniques

What Sets You Apart (Preferred / Nice-to-Have)

• Degree or coursework in Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Business, Computer Science/IS, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Health Administration/Public Health, Math/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain, or related fields
• Experience with process optimization, operational excellence, or quality standards implementation
• Prior exposure to healthcare provider operations or revenue cycle work
• Comfort using AI tools for analysis and collaboration (AI fluency)
• Experience supporting business transformation and change management initiatives
• Logistics or supply chain exposure is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $63,000 - $140,000 (actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location; all offers follow applicable employment laws).
• Eligible for annual discretionary bonus.
• Typical benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement/401(k), paid time off, and other standard benefits (offered by Confidential Client).
