Role Overview
This is a full-time, hybrid Healthcare Program Associate (Program Specialist) role based in Harrisburg, PA. The position supports program operations, case file management, reporting and provider outreach for a Confidential Client in the Healthcare industry. This is a long-term contract assignment with potential to transition to direct hire if internal openings become available.
What You’ll Do
- Clear assigned case files for members with eligibility changes or terminated services.
- Coordinate and support information systems and tracking tools used by the program.
- Review program manuals and materials and recommend revisions based on policy changes.
- Develop and update program forms, templates and filing systems.
- Collect and consolidate data to prepare routine and ad-hoc reports.
- Assist with provider recruitment, enrollment/dis-enrollment, and outreach activities as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- $22.00 per hour (paid weekly).
- Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
- 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service per eligibility rules.
- Long-term contract with potential for hire into internal roles if available.
Schedule & Location
- Typical schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday (40 hours/week).
- Work arrangement: Hybrid — onsite in Harrisburg, PA with some work-from-home days.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in public health, healthcare services, health plan operations, entry-level case management, or healthcare insurance programs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage case files, produce reports, and work with tracking systems.
- Strong attention to detail, written communication, and basic data handling skills.
Nice-to-Have / Preferred
- Experience with provider enrollment or outreach.
- Familiarity with program operations in a health plan or public-health setting.
- Comfort using or coordinating IT/tracking tools to support program workflows.
