Role overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Healthcare Data Analyst to support data collection, validation, and reporting initiatives across clinical and operational teams. You will turn healthcare data into clear insights that support decisions across the organization. This is a full-time opportunity based in New Jersey, NJ.

What you’ll do

• Collect, clean, and validate healthcare datasets from internal systems and external partners
• Produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to inform clinical and operational stakeholders
• Translate business questions into data requirements and analysis plans
• Identify data quality issues and work with technical teams to resolve root causes
• Support performance measurement, quality improvement, and regulatory reporting needs
• Document analyses, data sources, and transformation logic to ensure reproducibility
• Communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences; present results and recommendations

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, Public Health, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to data quality
• Experience working with spreadsheets and tabular data
• Ability to write clear, concise documentation and reports
• Comfortable collaborating with clinical and technical partners in a fast-paced environment
• Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred skills (nice-to-have)

• Familiarity with SQL or other query languages (preferred)
• Experience with BI / dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
• Exposure to healthcare data sources (claims, EHR, clinical registries) helpful
• Basic scripting in Python or R for data cleaning/analysis is a plus
