Contract Details

This is a contract opportunity (CONTRACTOR) with a 6-month initial duration; Temp-to-Perm may be possible.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST.
Location: Cincinnati, OH.
Pay rate: $50–$55 / hour (hourly range provided in source).


Position Summary

As a senior-level contracting and strategy analyst focused on health & wellness contracting, you will use advanced analytics to support contracting strategy, reporting, and profitability initiatives enterprise-wide. You will partner with stakeholders, prepare and present clear analytical summaries, and support contracting and strategic initiatives that drive margin and business growth. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and coaching capabilities.


What You’ll Do

  • Support the manager in defining and reviewing contracting and strategy analytics, including management of contract/project pipeline.
  • Perform complex analyses to monitor the value of contracts or strategic health & wellness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Contracting and Strategic Programs teams to make recommendations that maximize profitability.
  • Provide forward-looking analysis and insight to senior leadership to support forecasting and decision-making.
  • Prepare analysis for payer agreements, vendor/manufacturer proposals, 340B opportunities, discount card opportunities, contracting profitability audits, and similar topics.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders and Centers of Excellence to identify improvements in contract compliance and adherence to sourcing policies.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports; complete performance reviews and provide development feedback.
  • Create and maintain training curriculum as part of talent development efforts.
  • Execute ad hoc analyses and special projects as directed.
  • Travel to divisions as needed to provide support and coaching.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year database management experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy and/or PBM experience.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, Power Pivot, Power Query).
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience using business intelligence tools to create visualizations, recurring reporting, and data analysis.

Preferred / Desired Qualifications

  • Proficient in Power BI and Power Automate.
  • 3+ years of experience in data modeling and analytics.
  • 3+ years of retail pharmacy and/or PBM experience.
  • Any experience in third-party payor contracting.
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools.
  • Project management experience with the ability to drive projects to quality and timely completion.
