What You’ll Do

You will serve as a Health & Safety Professional supporting client projects across industrial sites in Uptown, IN. In this role you will monitor field operations, identify safety and industrial hygiene risks, recommend corrective actions, and prepare clear inspection and compliance reports. You will help maintain clients’ compliance with OSHA and industry best practices while supporting training and program development.


Responsibilities

  • Participate in client projects to ensure regulatory requirements are understood and sites operate in compliance.
  • Conduct frequent site inspections to identify potential safety and industrial hygiene concerns and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed inspection and project reports documenting adherence to approved plans, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Support development and delivery of safety programs, training, and corrective action plans.
  • Perform or coordinate industrial hygiene sampling and basic field testing.
  • Stay current on industry trends and OSHA regulatory changes and communicate impacts to clients and project teams.
  • Work independently on assignments and collaborate across client and project teams as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Entry-level to 3 years of experience in safety, industrial hygiene, or occupational health (project- or field-based experience preferred).
  • Trained to perform industrial hygiene sampling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate technical procedures and instructions to staff and clients at multiple levels.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and common project management or reporting tools.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently in industrial environments.

Preferred

  • ASP (Associate Safety Professional) or other safety certification is preferred.
  • Prior experience in environmental, construction, or heavy industrial projects is a plus.

Compensation & Location

  • Estimated pay: $55,458 per year (estimated).
  • Location: Uptown, IN.
  • Employment type: Full-time (on-site / project-based travel may be required per client needs).
