Health Coach - Wellness
The Health Coach role at Confidential Client involves guiding clients through a self-discovery process to assess wellness and readiness for change, co-creating personalized wellness visions with SMART goals, and developing strategies to overcome obstacles. What You’ll Do
As a Health Coach - Wellness working with our Confidential Client, you will guide clients through a structured self-discovery and behavior-change process to support whole-person wellness.
- Assess client wellness, readiness to change, and confidence.
- Coach clients to their level of readiness and confidence using motivational techniques.
- Co-create a wellness vision and set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely) goals.
- Identify potential or existing obstacles and develop practical strategies to overcome them.
- Conduct blood draws and interpret basic biometric/lab results as part of wellness screening.
- Document client interactions and results in accordance with client policies and privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with the broader care team and refer clients to additional services when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise/Sport Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
- Preferred:
- Internship, volunteer, or work experience in a wellness-related field.
- Experience in blood specimen collection/venipuncture on adults.
- Additional (preferred):
- Strong communication, coaching, and documentation skills.
- Comfort working in clinical or community wellness settings.
