What You’ll Do
This role supports mission-critical naval aviation systems and focuses on hands-on electrical hardware testing from component to system level. You will work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment with engineering, production, and government technical teams.
- Gather product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and procedures for electrical, mechanical, and software systems
- Execute testing activities, log and analyze results, and clearly communicate findings to engineering and program teams
- Troubleshoot test failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Design and build automated test systems to improve repeatability and efficiency
- Create and maintain technical documentation in compliance with Quality Management Systems
- Travel to project and installation sites for system installation, verification, testing, and certification as required
What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- 0–2 years of hands-on experience testing electrical hardware at component and system levels
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and testing techniques
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
- Experience with root cause analysis and familiarity with building or using automated test systems
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and technical documentation standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed

- Strong attention to detail and technical documentation skills
- Team-oriented approach and experience collaborating with government or production partners
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearance (if applicable)
Location & Travel
This position is located in Beachville, MD, within the St. Mary’s County technology corridor near the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Travel to project sites is required for installations, verification, testing, and certification. There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this opening; applicants should currently reside in or be willing to relocate to St. Mary’s County or surrounding areas.
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-Time Salary Range: $64,926 - $110,374 per year
- Benefits for regular employees (20+ hours/week) typically include health, dental, and vision insurance; health savings accounts; 401(k) plan; disability and life insurance; paid time off and holidays; paid parental and other leave; employee assistance programs; and additional recognition and discount programs.
- Actual pay is based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and local market conditions.
