Graphics Designer

What You’ll Do
This is a hands-on Graphic Designer role supporting communications and outreach projects across digital and print media. You’ll create on-brand materials, support production tasks, and collaborate with program teams and end users to deliver design solutions on deadline.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, develop, and maintain brand identity and visual systems for the client and internal projects
- Design and produce a wide range of assets: logos, infographics, campaign graphics, banners, posters, flyers, booklets, certificates, and PowerPoint presentations
- Create layouts and visual concepts for outreach and educational materials including newsletters, fact sheets, and brochures
- Interface directly with customers/users to gather requirements and revise designs based on feedback
- Perform production and finishing work as needed (cutting, mounting, laminating, binding, engraving, framing)
- Apply strong principles of composition, typography, and information design to communicate complex ideas clearly
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Redesign or recreate submissions to best represent the concept when required
- Other design and production duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional design experience (will consider strong entry-level candidates)
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including PowerPoint and SharePoint Online
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and produce a broad range of print and digital design materials
- Excellent attention to detail, proofreading, and visual accuracy
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent organizational skills; able to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
Education & Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts with emphasis in graphic design, or related discipline; or equivalent relevant experience
- Mandatory requirement: Must have a Department of Defense security clearance at the Secret level (preferred) or be able to obtain one
Location & Schedule
This role is based in Arlington / Crystal City (Washington, DC area) with a hybrid remote/onsite schedule. Regular on-site work at the client’s and/or corporate offices will be required as projects demand.
Estimated pay (from source): $39,317 per year (estimated).

- Experience supporting government, defense, or regulated clients
- Familiarity with production workflows for print signage and exhibit materials
- Portfolio demonstrating a range of campaign, infographic, and presentation design work
