Role Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a Junior Graphic Designer to join their marketing team in East Irvine, CA. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate or a designer with up to 3 years of experience who wants hands-on experience producing digital and print assets for a growing IT business.
What You’ll Do
As a Junior Graphic Designer you will support the design team across a range of marketing deliverables:
- Assist with visual concepts and production for web pages, digital ads, pitch decks, social media, email campaigns, video assets, and print collateral.
- Help develop brand assets and support logo, web and brand-guideline work.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with senior designers, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent brand identity.
- Monitor design trends and recommend new tools or techniques to improve output.
- Accept and apply feedback to refine work.
Qualifications
- 0–3 years of graphic design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proficient with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD).
- Strong grasp of design fundamentals: layout, color, typography.
- Familiarity with technical requirements for print and digital production.
- Attention to detail and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript knowledge, video editing, or motion graphics skills are a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Portfolio required — all applicants must submit a portfolio that demonstrates design skill and creative thinking.
