What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Graphic & Digital Designer to support print and digital marketing efforts. In this hybrid role you will produce on-brand visual assets—layouts, social graphics, email templates, web graphics, photography assets, and basic UI elements—working with content partners and senior designers to turn concepts into production-ready deliverables.

  • Support design projects from concept through final production across print and digital channels
  • Create layouts, typographic treatments, icons/illustrations, and social templates
  • Produce accessible, tagged PDFs and assets that meet web contrast and accessibility checks
  • Build basic HTML/CSS email and web assets in collaboration with senior designers
  • Source and edit photography (DSLR) and coordinate with internal print shop for production
  • Follow established brand standards, style guides, and production schedules

Primary responsibilities

  • Design and redesign marketing collateral: brochures, signage, conference materials, social posts, and ads
  • Maintain visual hierarchy, typographic relationships, and consistent color balance across materials
  • Manage multiple projects to meet deadlines and budget constraints
  • Research and select approved stock photography, graphics, and illustrations that align with brand
  • Produce digital design elements and prototypes (Sketch) to support responsive layouts
  • Document and follow workflows, schedules, and team communications
  • Participate in in-house photography as needed and perform basic photo editing
  • Support user experience considerations by applying fundamental UX/UI principles

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate degree in graphic design or equivalent experience (0–3 years of relevant work)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge; ability to work with senior designers to preserve creative integrity in responsive formats
  • Familiarity with Sketch or similar design/prototyping tools
  • Understanding of UX/UI fundamentals and print production (4/C process)
  • Experience shooting and editing photos with a DSLR
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using a Mac

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic/web design, fine arts, or related field
  • Additional experience with JavaScript or front-end workflows

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Occasional travel may be required

Logistics & compensation

  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Work model: Hybrid — typically 2 days onsite per week at the Harrisburg office
  • Location: Harrisburg, PA
  • Compensation: Grade 12 — commensurate with experience; starting at $42,351 (annual). Estimated midpoint/market: ~$49,643/year.
