What You’ll Do
Join the engineering team supporting avionics, embedded systems, and defense-related software projects. As a Graduate Software Engineer you will work on hands‑on development tasks under mentorship, contribute to design reviews, write and maintain unit/automation tests, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality embedded software.
- Participate in embedded software design, coding, and testing cycles
- Write, run and maintain automated tests for your code
- Implement features in C, C++ or C# for embedded targets
- Use MATLAB for algorithm prototyping, scripting, and modeling tasks
- Contribute to threaded and system programming efforts
- Work with communication protocols and system integration activities
- Document designs, test plans, and troubleshooting steps
- Follow secure development and ITAR-compliant procedures (US citizens only)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or related field
- Strong foundation in programming with C and/or C++
- Familiarity with embedded systems concepts and real-time programming
- Basic knowledge of MATLAB scripting/modeling
- Proficiency with Python for scripting and test automation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- US Citizenship required (position is ITAR-controlled)
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience or coursework in system/real-time programming and threaded applications
- Experience with .NET / C# is an advantage
- Any exposure to aerospace, defense, or regulated industries
- Knowledge of common communication protocols (e.g., CAN, UART, TCP/IP)
- Understanding of the software engineering lifecycle and version control best practices
