Position Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Graduate Software Engineer to join an early-career engineering cohort in New York, NY. This entry-level, full-time role is ideal for recent graduates or developers with internship/co-op experience who are ready to contribute to product features, learn from senior engineers, and grow quickly within a collaborative engineering organization.

What You’ll Do

• Work on design, development, testing, and maintenance of software features under mentorship
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver customer-facing functionality
• Write clean, testable code and contribute to code reviews
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and pre-production environments
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings
• Learn engineering best practices (version control, CI/CD, automated testing, documentation)

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field — recent graduates encouraged to apply
• Strong fundamentals in programming and problem solving (data structures, algorithms, OOP)
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (examples include Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, or similar)
• Basic experience with source control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
