Confidential Client is hiring Graduate Nurses for its Sugar Land campus graduate nurse program (Winter 2027 cohort). This is an entry-level, full-time clinical nursing role designed for recent nursing graduates who will develop clinical skills under RN supervision and participate in structured learning while delivering patient-centered care.

What You’ll Do

Confidential Client’s Graduate Nurse (GN) will:

• Provide professional nursing care to a diverse patient population under RN supervision
• Perform nursing assessments, assist with exams and treatments, and maintain medical records
• Administer medications and support clinical procedures per scope and supervision
• Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning
• Collaborate with physicians and the interprofessional care team to support safe, efficient care
• Progress clinical competency through coaching, skills assessments, and continuing education
• Use clinical technology and electronic communication tools (including Outlook) as part of daily work

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school preferred; Associates degree from an accredited school of Nursing may be considered
• Experience:
  • No prior RN experience required — completion of a nursing program with clinical rotations in a hospital setting is required
• Licenses & certifications (required):
  • GN — Graduate Nurse Temporary State Licensure (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) OR applicable temporary/graduate nurse licensure for the hiring state
  • BLS — Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) or BLS Instructor

Skills & Abilities

• Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English to perform essential job duties
• Developing assessment, organizational, prioritization and time-management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians and team members
• Progressing clinical judgment consistent with the Nurse Practice Act
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and apply improvements
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook

• Follow patient- and family-centered care standards
• Provide and adapt patient education based on learning needs under RN supervision

• Follow nursing process standards, regulatory requirements, and professional practice guidelines
• Provide progressively complex care and coordinate with interprofessional teams

Finance & operations:

• Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and minimize incidental overtime

Growth & innovation:

• Identify learning needs and pursue continuing education and training
• Support implementation of new care pathways and service-line changes

Supplemental:

• Work attire: scrubs required
• On-call: may be required during emergencies (e.g., disaster response)
• Travel: typically not required

Work shift: Evergreen rotation — all shifts (per department scheduling)

Compensation

• Estimated salary (as posted): $50,678 per year — estimated. Actual pay may vary based on credentials, experience, and location. Confidential Client complies with applicable state and local compensation regulations.
