What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to support electromechanical hardware development for their AI-native security platform.
- Support the design, development, and validation of electromechanical assemblies, balancing performance, manufacturability, and cost
- Contribute across the full product lifecycle: prototypes through EVT/DVT/PVT builds, vendor handoff, and field deployment
- Work alongside senior engineers to communicate with vendors and suppliers to keep parts on schedule and to spec
- Take initiative and act with urgency; bring a scrappy, hands-on approach to problem solving
- Own tasks and keep multiple workstreams moving forward
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree completed or expected in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on hardware experience from internships, co-ops, university projects, or student teams (e.g., Formula SAE, robotics)
- Proficiency in CAD (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles and common manufacturing processes (sheet metal, injection molding)
- Understanding of thermal, vibration, and environmental design considerations from coursework or projects
- Curious, eager to learn, and resilient in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work onsite in Sunnyvale, CA
