What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to support advanced power generation projects. You will contribute to mechanical equipment and systems design for facility-scale energy projects, working within a systems sub-discipline and alongside multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Read, interpret, and apply departmental design guides, engineering codes, standards, and company procedures
- Perform equipment sizing and performance calculations
- Support development of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Prepare less complex engineering deliverables including drawings, reports, specifications, and scoped studies
- Collect, organize, and manage engineering data to support analysis and deliverables
- Prepare basic engineering calculations using standard methods and principles
- Work within budget, schedule, and quality expectations; escalate issues as needed
- Collaborate with internal project teams and develop an understanding of client needs and drivers
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework in fluids and thermodynamics
- Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides/standards
- Familiarity with industry trends and mechanical systems used in power generation
- Understanding of quality programs, construction practices, and constructability principles
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; willingness to learn and grow in a project environment
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (accredited program in the applicant’s home country or country of practice)
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding, which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search when permitted by law
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa (visa sponsorship is not available for this role)
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Hybrid or flexible work arrangements may be available after the first 90 days based on manager direction, job performance, and job duties
- Typical office environment with occasional site/project visits as required

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual pay range for this location: $78,850.00 - $97,079.85 (USD)
- This role may be relocation-eligible
