Confidential Client is hiring a Graduate Fire Protection Engineer to join a structured three-year graduate development program. This entry-level role blends technical engineering work with consulting skills development, mentorship, and hands-on project experience in fire protection and mechanical systems.
What You’ll Do
You will contribute to client projects while building your engineering and consultancy capabilities. Typical responsibilities include:
- Designing fire protection and engineering solutions
- Conducting and monitoring site inspections
- Attending project and client meetings
- Refining technical designs, drawings, and documentation
- Analyzing reports, specifications, and code requirements
- Supporting project delivery and client management tasks
- Leveraging digital tools and innovation to improve outcomes
- Promoting sustainable engineering practices

Qualifications & experience
To be considered for this 2026 graduate intake, you should have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering (preferred)
- Successful completion of the EIT exam, or ability to take the EIT exam within 12 months
- Demonstrated interest through internships, volunteering, or professional memberships (e.g., SFPE, NFPA)
- Creative, methodical problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- A resilient, solution-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous growth
- Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
Compensation & benefits
- Expected base salary: $77,000 - $86,000 per year
