Position Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Graduate Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer to support water projects and related infrastructure work. This role is designed for early-career engineers who want hands-on experience preparing deliverables (P&IDs, specifications, reports), performing engineering analysis, and supporting instrument/equipment selection under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Support preparation of engineering deliverables including Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), engineering specifications, reports, and technical evaluations.
• Perform routine research and analysis to develop recommendations for instrumentation and equipment selection.
• Apply department design guides, company standards, applicable engineering codes, and quality procedures.
• Coordinate and share design information with project teams and leadership.
• Support scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements on assigned tasks.
• Learn and follow construction and constructability practices as they relate to designs.
• Communicate clearly with internal project teams and progressively develop client-facing skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program (or equivalent recognized program).
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Eligibility to work where the position is located (Visa sponsorship is not offered for this posting per the source).

Work Environment & Schedule

• Location: Highland Park, TX (worksite and hybrid arrangements as applicable).
• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.
• This role involves office and project-team interaction; some field or site exposure may be required depending on assignments.

Compensation & Benefits

• Posted pay range (per source): $19.69 - $26.25 per hour.
