Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Graduate Electrical Engineer to join their MEP engineering team. This on-site position in Bee Cave, TX focuses on electrical design and production of construction documents across multifamily, commercial, high-rise, hospitality, EV fleet and related markets. The role reports to the electrical team leader and offers mentorship, benefits, and opportunities for skill development in Revit, electrical calculations, and automation/visualization strategies.


What You’ll Do

  • Work with engineers and designers to produce quality electrical construction documents from architectural plans and base files using Revit.
  • Under limited supervision, size equipment, prepare circuit diagrams and perform lighting and energy calculations for varied project types.
  • Perform electrical load analysis, voltage drop, short-circuit/fault analysis and other engineering calculations.
  • Review submittals and respond to preliminary Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Conduct preliminary site investigations and construction progress site visits independently.
  • Maintain relationships with manufacturers and technical reps to support equipment specifications and design.
  • Participate in internal production meetings and external design or permitting meetings as needed.
  • Contribute to development of automation and visualization strategies for project workflows.
  • Keep Project Engineers and Project Managers informed of progress on assigned tasks.
  • Attend industry events and engage with the community to build relationships and content.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification obtained within the first year in the role.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (entry-level / graduate).
  • Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with producing construction documents.
  • Knowledge of electrical design fundamentals: load calculations, lighting design, voltage drop, fault analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience or knowledge of coding and/or machine learning technologies is a plus.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Confidential Client is unable to sponsor or transfer sponsorship of employment visas.
