What You’ll Do

As an entry-level Electrical Engineer assigned to the Solar team at our confidential client, you will support delivery of engineering work across renewable-energy projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to preparation of engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, specifications, and limited-scope studies
  • Perform routine research and recommend equipment and materials selection
  • Collect, organize, and manage engineering data
  • Prepare basic engineering calculations using standard methods (e.g., three-phase power calculations)
  • Apply departmental design guides, codes, and company procedures
  • Support quality, continuous improvement, and change-management activities
  • Coordinate tasks with project team members and share information as directed
  • Provide occasional support to business development or pursuit activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework or knowledge in power systems, motors, transformers, power delivery, renewable energy, or three-phase power calculations
  • Internship or prior hands-on experience in engineering projects
  • Basic familiarity with engineering design principles, industry design guides and standards
  • Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies in renewables
  • Fundamental knowledge of construction practices and project execution
  • Strong problem-solving, written communication, and teamwork skills
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher (preferred)
  • Ability to travel intermittently to project sites and to relocate short-term or long-term as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program (or equivalent recognized program)
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future; this role does not provide visa sponsorship
  • Ability to complete pre-employment checks (background, drug screen, motor vehicle record review) where applicable and allowed by law

Work Environment & Additional Details

  • Employment type: Full-Time
  • Relocation: Eligible (short-term and long-term relocation to project sites and regional offices may be required)
  • Hybrid/flexible work options may be available after 90 days based on manager discretion and job needs
  • Intermittent travel to project sites is expected
  • Job grade / salary plan: ENG / Grade 014 (confidential client’s internal structure)
  • Estimated salary (from source): $86,777 per year — estimated. Exact compensation will be provided by the hiring organization and may vary by location and experience.
