What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to join their BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) team. Typical responsibilities include:
- Develop familiarity with departmental design guides, engineering codes, standards, and company procedures
- Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to established QA programs
- Contribute to preparation of engineering deliverables of limited scope (drawings, reports, specifications, studies)
- Perform routine research and provide equipment/material recommendations
- Collect, organize, and manage engineering data
- Prepare basic engineering calculations using standard methods and principles
- Coordinate with project team members and share information as directed by project leadership
- Support internal client needs and assist with business development or proposal support as requested
- Share current knowledge of relevant technologies and processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework or experience in Power Systems, Motors, Transformers, Renewable Energy, Power Delivery, or Three-Phase Power Calculations
- Previous internship or relevant hands-on experience
- Basic knowledge of engineering design principles, design guides, and standards
- Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Fundamental knowledge of construction practices and principles
- Strong problem-solving and written communication skills; ability to work well with peers
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program
- Ability to complete standard pre-employment checks (background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record search) as required and in compliance with applicable laws

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range (posted for this location): $93,500 - $99,194
