What You’ll Do
You’ll learn on the job and contribute to design and delivery across a range of civil engineering projects. Typical responsibilities include:
- Supporting the design of roads, bridges, building structures, and site layouts
- Helping develop plans, calculations, and technical reports
- Preparing permitting documents and assisting with project coordination
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to solve engineering challenges
- Assisting senior engineers across structural, transportation, water resources, and site development tasks
What We’re Looking For
We want curious, collaborative early-career engineers who are eager to grow:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- EIT certification is a plus, or willingness to pursue EIT/PE track
- Familiarity with Civil 3D, MicroStation, or other engineering/CAD tools is helpful
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter attitude and ability to work on multi-disciplinary teams
Compensation & Location
- Estimated base pay: $53,632 per year (estimated). Actual pay may vary based on experience and location.
- Location: Schenectady, NY. Candidates may also be considered for other regional offices referenced in the role (e.g., South Bend, IN or Fort Wayne, IN) — final location will be confirmed during the hiring process.
