Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is hiring a GPU Server Test Software Engineer to join their Telford, PA engineering team. This role focuses on developing and running test automation for GPU/server hardware used in production and manufacturing environments. The position is full-time and suited for engineers with hands-on Linux, Python, and test automation experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for GPU and server platforms.
  • Develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Deploy and manage test software on manufacturing/production lines and test stations.
  • Build and enhance custom GPU/PCIe diagnostic and testing tools.
  • Troubleshoot DIAG/test failures and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to improve product quality and test coverage.
  • Document test procedures, results, and actionable defect reports.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 1+ year of relevant professional experience in test, validation, or software-in-test roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, Git, and Jenkins.
  • Solid Linux experience (automation, scripting, debugging).
  • Fundamental understanding of server and network architecture (PCIe, BIOS/firmware basics a plus).
  • Ability to perform remote and hands-on hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in servers, data centers, OEMs, or manufacturing/test environments is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM tools is a plus.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience developing test frameworks for GPU or high-performance compute hardware.
  • Prior work with PCIe diagnostics, hardware bring-up, or embedded test harnesses.
  • Exposure to continuous integration pipelines for hardware test (e.g., Jenkins pipelines with hardware triggers).
