Role overview

Confidential Client is hiring a Government Property Specialist in Tempe, AZ. As an entry-level Government Property Specialist, you'll support government property management and compliance for IT and defense-related programs. This role requires U.S. citizenship and may require a Department of Defense Secret security clearance (preferred at time of hire).


What You’ll Do

As the Government Property Specialist you will:

  • Provide documentation and property records to DCMA/customer representatives and internal stakeholders.
  • Support compliance audits and internal assessments of government-owned property processes.
  • Initiate corrective actions with program, supplier, and subcontractor teams when issues are identified.
  • Assist with supplier evaluations and audits of subcontractor/supplier facilities where government-owned property is assigned.
  • Maintain accurate property records in IFS and related property management systems.
  • Coordinate with program managers, facilities, and logistics to ensure custody and accountability of government property.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Working knowledge of IFS or similar ERP/property management systems.
  • Understanding of government property compliance requirements and regulations (e.g., DCMA expectations).
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
  • Ability to pass a U.S. Government security investigation; Department of Defense Secret clearance preferred at time of hire.

Compensation & Location

  • Estimated pay range: USD $65,233 - USD $70,584 per year (actual pay may vary based on experience and other factors).
  • Location: Tempe, AZ. This is an on-site role requiring U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. government security investigation.
